How do we make Vimto?

It’s a secret. We’ll never tell. Never.

Oh, ok, we’ll tell you, but promise not to tell anyone else.

First we start with the ingredients: fruit juices, water, sugar, natural colours and our top secret Vimto formula (that bit’s still a secret!).

Then we mix them all together in huge tanks. If we’re making fizzy Vimto, we also add CO2 to the water to make loads of brilliant burpy bubbles.

Once everything’s all mixed together, we bring in the Super Shlurpers. Their job is to test that the mixture is just right. You have to keep a careful eye on them because they might just shlurple the whole lot!

When the mixture gets the thumbs up, it’s sent off to be pasteurised! This is done to make sure your Vimto reaches you in tip-top condition.

Next the freshly pasteurised Vimto whizzes past-our-eyes and straight into our funky Vimto bottles. Then the lids and labels are put on and the bottles are boxed up so they can be sent out to shops, supermarkets and anywhere else that sells Vimto.

And after that… they’re ready for shlurpling! Yum!
