At Vimto, we listen to what you have to say. So when customers got in touch saying they would like to have oranges added to their Vimto, we got thinking. Then we got into the flavour lab and started creating.

The result – a new special edition cordial, that tastes exactly like the original Vimto but with an added citrus zing. And despite the fact that it’s not purple, we all agreed that it was just as much fun to shlurple. But, we did have one problem – what to call it?

Then Kevin Murphy, a lifelong Vimto fan and one of our tasters at Vimto’s head office, tasted our new cordial. He took one shlurple and said “Who put oranges in my Vimto?” And with that, we had our name!
